Crazy game

Almost a carbon copy of their league team last week….I got there just after half time & all a saw was a dominant Glenelg team

Fair summary, that sentence.
Sturt came out like they wanted to win, Glenelg didn't. The difference in intensity was obvious. Don't reckon the Bays entered their 50m zone for the first 8 minutes. In the second half the intensity was better but it took until the final term to make a difference. Possibly helped by Sturt going defensive; they didn't look like they wanted to score for the whole term. Reckon they only went forward twice for the quarter. Bays coulda done even better, kicking 1.5 by the ten minute mark before they settled.
I note that Sturt kicked its last goal in the fifth minute of the third term. Since that point Glenelg kicked 5.9 to 0.4. Says it all.
Thought Searle was superb. Bit hard to report on the other players since I didn't recognise half of 'em... I noticed a bit of Rayson and Mack Miller, and Leck did well kicking 3.2.
