According to Blocky, we have won the last 5 coin tosses in the Reserves. So get down there early and see if we can make it 6 out of 6!

(as that might be the only thing that we win in the Reserves looking at that lineup)

6 possibly 7 changes this week.

I see it as a positive considering we are coming off a 4 day break.

I hope you're right, Maxy!

Burdett is the only one in that lineup who has played more than 2 League games (R Saunders 2, Yeomans 1), plus we have 9 players with no more than 5 games experience at Reserves level.

The Eagles lineup has experienced League players in
Floreani, Wigley, R Fiacchi, Symmons, Oakley, Spencer, Price and Coles, plus possibly Earl or Potter to come back from the League...

Why so many changes? I know a couple at the u18 trials, but what about guys like Krueger? Injuries? Also thought Reavill's departure may have sparked greater discussion?

Krueger, Reavill, Anderson and Percy have all left the club in the past couple weeks, in addition to Milne leaving earlier in the season.

The ones who I believe are injured are Burdett, Sundqvist, A Button, Miller, Austin and Holmes, although I haven't heard anything about Holmes in the last few weeks...

Maxyoz may be able to elaborate further.

Add to that injuries to Backwell and Douglas, plus Gibbs, Sellar, Lally, L Button, Day, O'Grady etc etc... away at Under 18 trials, and our depth is severely tested.

(I have named 19 missing players in this post)

I believe Krueger was injured in the last game he played, which influenced his decision.

I believe the door is still slightly open for Krueger to come back if he wants to.

Well, things only look worse for the Ressies with Pumpa out with a dislocated shoulder and Rick Saunders breaking his leg after his great goal.

Has there been any correspondence from the club about the departure of all these reserve players?

Of course not. It's rubbish that we aren't informed of this type of stuff. It made the website and also I think we got e-mailed when it was announced Krueger has signed on for 2 years late last season. BTW, what happens there?
