The Reserves vs Sturt thread

So are we going to extend our 5 match winning streak vs Sturt?

Here's an "Ask Ecky" type stat from the Reserves this year

 We have not conceded a score between 80 and 100 this year
 Each time we have conceded over 100 we have lost (8 losses)
 Each time we have conceded below 80 we have won (8 wins)

So keep an eye on the opposition score - as long as we keep them under 80, we are going to win! (well maybe......)

We are also on a two game streak of scoring 119 (along with the League last week as well) - can we make it 3 in a row :?:

(Isn't life fun for a statistician with all these little quirks? Stan the Statistician should move from Stradbroke Island to Glenelg! )

Why isn't Doyle in Bold??? He is an inclusion this week as well.

Come on Borat, this is the 2nd week in a row.

So, at this stage, the only 2 outs* are the injured Ben Wade and Seb Guilhaus.

Who will be the third outed*?

Stay tuned - or get to the game and buy a budget.

Boo Wadey for missing for the first time since making his Reserves debut in Round 1, last year. He had the longest streak going of consecutive Reserves games (39 in a row).

The holder of that record now is Tom Redden, who has played 26 in a row - going back to Round 15 last year.

Could he be the son of former Torrens player Harry Puhle?

Puhle's forst kick was a goal allegedly.

The magoos had a big win as well today, and are also third on the ladder!

How about an update on the whereabouts of L Button? This kid looked the goods when I saw him play a few weeks back.

Lachie is back at Sacred Heart.

This week they have the big Inter-Col game against Rostrevor and Sunday Week (The 27th of August) is the game against Assumption College from Kilmore in Victoria.

A great display of footy and attracts a few AFL scouts. Richie Douglas is a former Assumption College kid and there are numerous SHC boys running around at the Bay.
