Reserves vs Port

Postby Ecky » Mon Jun 25, 2007 12:03 pm

Port 14.13 97 d Glenelg 12.16 88

Not a bad effort considering we had at least 5 players who have played the majority of the year in the under 19s, and spent most of the game without Kirky and Horan (who got concussed during our warmup!)

This was against a team that included Butcher, Hargraves, Jarjoura and Harry Miller.

Good to see Duldig return to something like his best form, kicking 4.5. :D

Nice to see Butcher's one finger salute at the end of the ressies, wasnt quite sure if it was aimed at the Bays supporters (whom gave him no stick as far as I know), or the grandstand maybe toward the coaches box?

Either way, he is all class isnt he? The guy is playing ressies for a club who's league team is struggling for form, he wins BBC's 'Goose Of The Week' award on many many levels.

What position does kellock play Ecky? 13 grabs is a fair day out.

kellock played in defence, was the loose man for a while so took a lot of uncontested marks from port kicks inside 50, but interestingly he didnt touch the ball in the 2nd qtr
