Reserves vs Centrals

Postby Ecky » Fri Jul 06, 2007 2:48 pm

Well, assuming Dougie is back playing for us, I presume Allen, Horan and Sugars will be the 3 to drop out of the League squad (assuming no last minute injuries at training tonight...). This leaves our Reserves with a sensational looking midfield. :D

Allen, Horan, Block, Ruwoldt and Lally back together in the midfield for the first time since the 2005 Prelim final - so anything less than 10 goals from Duldig should be unacceptable if it isn't raining. :)

Team from the paper is:
Ruwoldt Duldig Graham Obst Block Kellock Guilhaus Lally Liebelt Lewis Sutherland Thomas Tutt Hansen Snook Vallance Plant Bradley Wallent

+ 3 to come in from the League, and 1 to drop out (Snook back to the U19s?)

We will not compromise the SANFL competition (with AFL reserves teams)."

Hopefully the Cows don't leave it until late Saturday to let us know whether we have Dougie or not - I'd hate to see Snook miss out on a game altogether.

Glenelg 13.10 88 d Centrals 9.8 62

A great finish after Centrals were in front at 3/4 time.

Allen had the most handballs (29) we have ever recorded for the Reserves, and the second most we have recorded for either the Reserves or League, with only Billy Neely's 34 handballs in his 50 possession game vs Norwood on Spoon Day 2004 ahead of him.
