Eagles 19.11 125 d Glenelg 14.14 98

Goals: Grosser 3, Watson Clayson 2, Fosdike King O'Grady Basir Lally Sverdloff Cane 1.

Elliott King collapsed for no apparent reason while running with the ball with 10 seconds left in the game, was stretchered off with a knee injury, and I believe he is going to need a full knee reconstruction.

Saw that, and looked terrible in the fact that he didnt get up at all. Such a harmless thing too- he didnt even change direction....

we were with them for at least the first half and then it began raining goals.

the delivery to passador on most occassions was just to good for anyone to stop

That was the problem, He did try to change direction and it just didn't happen, he then tried to kick, but it all collapsed under him and he fell flat on his face.

He is a very shattered young man, if you see him around the place, give him a g'day.

At first looked like the old go to kick and stub the toe but you could tell he knew it was bad as he rolled onto his back and waved to the bench straight away.

We seem to lack a bit of experience and strong bodies in the reserves but the up side is the amount of youthful talent running around.

Passador would have been to good for any reserves side the way he played.

Good first half and things went down hill quick in the second but we did finish the game strongly and hit back hard late but there was always too much work to do to ever be a chance.
Fosdike, Horan and Lewis had plenty of it all day long but we just didn't have the same class of players the Eagles did.

So his year has ended before many leagues have started!

So if you see him around just have a chat to him as he is still young enough to be playin U/19s this year
