It looks like a very strong team, with Adlington and Lally likely to come back from the League squad and play too. Would have been hard to find 2 players to leave out if Mules and Sherwood had been fit.

Good to see Brad Vallance back for his first game since getting BOG in the Reserves Grand Final last year! :D

Ed's improving. He is getting used to the pace and style of play and is going up forward at times. Handy player to have. Can't see him playing League this year but if he keeps improving he should get his chance next year.

For me I got there seconds before the Half Time siren to see Grosser get a Free and kick a goal after the siren from 45-50 metres on the boundary.

3rd Qtr we kept Central in the game by chipping it around and over using it going inside 50 to try and beat kicking long into the breeze as everything was just sitting up.

Last qtr ran hard and kicked long with the wind to once again run over the top of Centrals.

They must be hating the bays 0 from 4 in senior grades this season.

Is it just me or are the magoos playing a much higher disposal game than the league team? Great when they're winning and even better that those moving between grades can adjust, but is it a good thing? Or is it just indicative of the different standard and level of pressure at Leage level?

No I don't think they are intentionally playing a High Possesion game.
When they are on they run in numbers and use each other well but when we struggle or as with the Port match were smashing them we tended to overuse the ball and there would be one to many handballs or too many short kicks.

Thats just my view on it.
