How to spend the week off?

Postby TigerBoss » Mon Sep 08, 2008 12:52 pm

As posted by Joelie on SA Footy.

Saturday 13th September.
11.15 Reserves Final Coopers Stadium - Glenelg V North

2pm U/19's Glenelg v Sturt.

Might be a good chance for all us supporters to continue to support the 2s and 19s.

I've got uni until 12.30pm but I'm planning on heading up to the Norwood Oval afterwards to catch the end of the 2s and watch our 19s have a win (hopefully).

Get past North, and I reakon we're looking the goods for back-to-back.

We smashed the North 2s last time we played them (Round 20). In Round 14, we came* from behind and grabbed a three point win. North 2s got us by 11 points in Round 7, so all in all, you would expect the Bays to give a really good account of themselves against the Roosters.

Against Sturt, it is 1-1 this season...

With possible outs for Sturt courtesy of the Power their 2s wll be weakened. I think the twos are looking good too ATM. If they play four quarters of footy no other reserves team in the comp can go with them.

As far as i am conserned it is not quite a week off, will be busy helping the Ressies in the morning, then seeing it will such a fantastic day, i think i will be venturing down to the Royal Show on its final day.
