Further to my previous post I have received information about an extremely idiotic action at the U17 final taken by a young member of our room staff. Apparently he abused one of the field umpires who promptly marched a port U17 player from a v diff shot at goal to the square from which he goaled. As we only lost the game by a kick the repercussions r obvious.

APPARENTLY UMPIRES CAN AWARD FREE KICKS WHEN ABUSED BY OFFICIALS AS WELL AND OUR TRAINING STAFF HAD BEEN WARNED ABT THIS. THIS INCIDENT IS DISGUSTING AND dESPITE HIS YOUNG AGE THE OFFENDER SHOULD BE DISPENSED WITH!!!

i CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE MOOD OF OUR 17 COACH!!

A very scrapy game we didnt use wind that well i thought. I cant c Macca coming in to side (league) next week, if anyone Grazie, Jack or Lewis are much more worthy of selection. My opinion only. If league needs a tall option go for the Man mountain Trent.

Despite Northski, hitting the front early in the last, it seemed as if the Bays were in control for much of the day.

We won the toss, and made a sensible decision to come home with the breeze (IMO about 5-6 goals). The first quarter
the defensive pressure was fantastic, holding North to a 12 point lead at 1/4 time. The game opened up in the second (for the Bays it did)
and we ran over North, and went into Lemon time with a nice handy lead of 26 points.

The third quarter was another great defensive quarter from the Bays as North could only manage to chip away 15 points for the Bays
to go into the last quarter with a 11 point lead.

The last quarter the COCKS came out firing and hit the lead early, but the strong Bays defence regrouped and started rebounding as for the
first three quarters, the Bays midfield stoppages once again came out on top, and we kicked away for a 18 point win...

A solid effort, which can be improved on, as too often we missed targets, or were a little indirect going goalward.

My best players in no particular order; Micky Liebelt thought his rebounding and defensive pressure was great, Lewis had a shocker of a
first quarter, but came into the game and provides great linkage through the middle of the park, Seb had a good game in the ruck, and
when he goes forward provides a real headache for opposition defences. Thought Macca had a good game, apart from the missed shots on
goal, but to have 8 pings is still a good effort. Also enjoyed watching young Carey, thought Planty had a good game, and one of my B favourites in Adlington once again showed he'll be playing more league next year then reserves....

Well done Boys !!

And I'll add, thought the Snouts ensemble gave plenty of voice and noise for the lads too....

Good showing of Glenelg people there, and also great to see the A's looking nice and relaxed heading into next week :D

Funniest moment in game I thought was when Alex Carey (?) lost his boot and spent the next few minutes running around with the one boot on. This lad looks certain for bigger things over next couple of years.

Jarrod Kellock BOG back at Club, Ed Curnow Best Team Man

Kellock's speech was all about Macca getting to training early for kicking practice! :)
