RESERVES vs NORWOOD

Postby Tiger Couple » Sat May 16, 2009 10:47 am

Game was played in constant rain for most of the 1st half and last qtr.

Kicking 5 points before a goal with Brian hitting the post twice in the end cost us the games as we spent most of the night chasing them.

Macca was great down back in the last qtr especially. Couldn't fault the efforts of anyone and in the end with both teams kicking 3 point each in the last qtr the game finished tied away at 5.11 each. Only down side was a collision between two Glenelg players with one being stretchered off not looking in that great a shape.

Once again Snook impressed me a lot and in a game not suited to High Marking Brian Donnelly took some solid grabs up forward early.

These are the players that caught my eye but sitting in the Grandstand behind the goals and with the rain it was hard to identify players at the other end of the ground. So i'm sure there was other players that had solid games that I have not mentioned.

yeah he went off for precautionary x-rays he was certainly conscious but a tad sore and sorry for himself in the rooms. He certainly was able to move his arms and legs.
