U18's v Sturt

Glenelg 13.12-90 def. Sturt 8.12-60
I popped in for about 20 minutes in the third, and at half time IIRC the Bays were 1.9 to 7.7 !
Massive comeback by the lads !!

Yep one very strange game. They looked an inept bunch of footballers in the first half.
The Second half was a complete domination and sturt looked inept. Scott-Collings, Bennett, Jolly, Trembath, Ramsey, Noonan, McIntyre were very good

Got there just after half time and not having seen the first half I could not work out how we could have been down by so much at half time. We must have been really bad in the first half, thankfully we were very good in the 2nd half. Sturt didn't look like even having a sniff in the 2nd half.
Looks like some very talented kids coming through, hopefully not all go the AFL.

I saw the whole game and the first half looked pretty poor; that said, Sturt belted us on that Friday night at Adelaide, so they are a good side.
Second half however was the very 'business as usual' dominance that we are coming to expect; a quality seven-goal third quarter put us back on track, and Strut scored their only goal for the second half deep into time on in the last qtr.
We have (almost) sown up the trophy for best performed club across all grades - 375 points ahead of Sturt with only 400 maximum points available.
