Just got home, and a fantastic team effort, with a equally fantastic self belief. Was standing with Grant, and at the 17th minute mark were 3 goals down. Said we Must kick one before the 20 min mark. We did. We got the next one in the next minute, and hit the front a minute later.

After that the last 8 or so minutes we smashed em kicking a couple more, and winning well........

For those not there, it was a 6 goal wind blowing straight down the guts to the Southern End.

Better players IMO Grima, Hitchcock, Vallance, Fosdike & McGregor. Cane good in the last.... A pretty even team performance once we clicked....

Great fighting effort by all 21 players. Hopefully Sammy Rudolph can get up for next week because he was important down back.

Things didn't go our way for most of the day with the ball not bouncing our way and a couple of umpires looking to help Port get home but we persisted and finally kicked it long and things clicked and home we ran.

The big move was Duldig to CHB and Clayfield up forward half way through the last. It open our forward line up and Port were zoning off there men and getting 2 or 3 back to compete against Dogger. We kicked it in long to Clayfield and there was a contest that got our crumbers into it which was evident with Hitchy kicking atleast 3 in the last qtr.
