Giddings hasn't played League, and yes, Hinge has just played the one Reserves game. (Only 1 reserves game for Carger and Diment too).

Interesting that if you exclude recruits, there are only 2 players from within the club who have been promoted to the "seniors" (League and Reserves) for the first time, and they both happen to be playing League (Agnew and Kennedy)!

How'd we do in the Mini League ET? did the Bays team win? How'd the guernsey's look??

AAh yep Glenelg won the Mini League (vs Savings and Loans CU) quite easily. And for those playing at home, the away mini league strip arrived from Kooga about 11am yesterday. They are a lovely Green and Orange colour...

The reserves looked terrible in the first quarter. Didn't kick a goal.

Whatever Mass said to them at 1/4 time, bottle it, cos they absolutely smashed the Blues from that point on.

Geez they looked quick. Robbie Douglas, looked good for a old bastard down back. Really stood out body wise compared to the skinny kids. The Snooks were in it as usual. Trembath was great up forward, Nicko took a fantastic mark down the Snouts End, and had a good game too.

Richo Richo man. We love ya. This bloke bleeds Black n Gold.

Well done lads!

Just thinking outside the square here, but if the Todd G experiment in defence is going tried again, TBar up forward has to be worth considering.
Nick Cane would also be a name in neon lights and Richard O'Grady certainly also deserves another chance.

All these guys can't fit in, but it's great to ensure pressure is being applied and there are no walk up starts, yet they know they are in the mix so have to keep performing at top level.

Anyone else notice the "special attention" dished out to Matt Snook yesterday?
Glad the umps were onto it. But maybe that's why he keeps such a good head of hair...to assist in protecting his skull

Douglas was excellent and I'm not sure what else O'Grady has to do to get into the A's.
