Glenelg 17.16 118 d West 6.5 41

6 out of 6 wins! Sick of the League team and annoyed they are playing too many kids? Time to get on the B-Grade bus again!

It looked like being a 100+ point thrashing when West were only on 2 goals early in the last quarter, but then they kicked 4 more.
5 goals to A Grima (including a couple goal of the year contenders) and 5 goals to Hender.

Pat Knott was injured before half time as well.
We had a 1 man bench from before half time

Good result for us, but pretty pathetic Westies reserves effort to be honest

For a guy who was playing div 5 ammos, Dougy has been great this year! He plays and looks like a footballer, well done Dougy.

Promote A Grima to the A's please, and take 24 away from Hitchcock, he doesnt deserve it!
To back out of a contest when you are supposed to be a professional footy player is deplorable and an embarrassment to the jumper AND the number!

U18's won by a point for the second week in a row. Snatched a win where they probably didn't deserve to. A dreadful clanger by a West defender with a few minutes to go gave us an easy goal. First 3/4 was pretty rubbish last quarter was fantastric.

Both teams topped up with u16 players while state trials are on (and College footy)

Interesting the 18's play a much higher ratio of kicks to handballs then the league team.

Carl Nicholson BOG for mine, with 4 goals.

... and Westies are equal bottom with one win for the year! The other equal bottom side (South) also had a narrow loss. Shows you how much of an effect the colleges have on the junior grades.
