It is his first ever Reserves game after 80 League games, although he did play Reserves in the trial game at Norwood Oval this year.

Correct, after 22 U18 games, he looks like being a straight swap for Bennett.

Changes from last week:

In: Murphy, Meyer, Snook, Armfield, Cane, Clayfield, Lyons, Galley
Out: Bennett (inj), Longbottom, Maynard, Evans, Nicholson (u18), Francis (u18)

Presumably Longbottom, Maynard and Evans have gone back to amateurs.

7 of the 8 ins have played League this year!

23 have been named, so 2 more to drop out from somewhere. Presumably Hancock is the Hancock named in the U18s (he would be eligible) so he is probably the most likely.

Yes Wade Hancock has a very early start tomorrow (8.40 kick off for our 18's), and Darren Clunes back to local league

Hopefully he draws inspiration from a Victorian U/18-U/19 recruit who came over to play league football in 1992 but halfway through the season found himself playing 19s, next year he played ressies, the year after (1994) League, the year after that AFL with Essendon - 2nd league game was ANZAC Day clash v Collingwood.

Wade look no further than Peter Berbakov for inspiration

Arrived just before half time and at Half time we were up 7.3 to 1.3. we run out winners 20.6.126 to 1.7.13.

Murphy, Meyer, Clayfield, Lyons all got through on the comeback trail.

With no Bennett Trembath spent a couple small spurts in the Ruck against Christian Bock.

Hard to pick best players from the 2 and a bit qtrs I saw because as good as we were the Eagles were pretty ordinary.

The lowest Reserves score against us since 1971 (Sturt kicked 1.7 then), making it the equal 3rd lowest Reserves score against Glenelg.
The two lower scores were both in 1968 (0.7 by North and 1.4 by Norwood)

405 possessions for us which is close to a record too (428 possessions vs South in 2008 is the highest recorded). Armfield kicked 6 goals.
