Ressies win by a point 11 4 to 10 9.

Dubious free and subsequent 25 allowed us to salute the judge.

Absolutely extraordinary end to this match

i think we were three goals down in time on and a series of brain farts by the umpires and the South players got us over the line

Interesting factoid:

We were 6 points down with a minute to play when Hinge had a shot for goal (from a free) about 35 metres out, and kicked a point. If we had kicked a goal we probably wouldnt have won. Classic 7 point play. (after a deliberate out of bounds, a 50 metre penalty for umpire abuse, and a 25 metre penalty for a player being to close to Hinge having a shot from a tricky angle)

Max Proud very solid in defence, Dylan McNeill is as happy as Pig in Mud (great match) Trembath played mainly in defence, Harrison Gill was excellent,

Not to mention free beer and food under the marquee after the game for those who braved the conditions to support the twos.

Great that the club are rewarding those who braved the conditions over the past couple of days, but not sure if its a great business decision. Will it get an extra 2000 people to the game next week? Doubt it, as these people will be there anyway. Will it get the people who were rewarded last night to spend more at the club next week or subsequent games? Doubt it, people like free stuff, not so keen on putting hands in pocket.

Personally, GFC, please stop it. Any money that maybe spent on these things, albeit minimal, please redirect into the footy department and let's win some games instead.

I think it was actually a few drinks for the support staff and players to celebrate Mules; there wasn'y any spectators included (apart from me) :P

And apparently the sausages were left over from something else.
