Round 6 vs WWT

Postby Speedy Tigers! » Thu May 08, 2014 10:32 pm

Reserves

F: Hancock, Merrett, Scott
HF: Gamble, Hinge, Carger
C: McNeil, Kangur, Trembath
HB: Craig, E. Gill, Saunders
B: Spriggs, Galley, McIntyre

R: J. Miller, Snook, McFarlane
INT: Spurling, Edwards, VanGils

Great to see Ben Edwards get a match. Looks like a pencil in need of a hair cut but is possibly the best mark at the club!

Worth getting there early to watch the young fella.

Said Gregson omitted, but not named in the 2's?

Not 100% sure but school footy starts this week IIRC.

That was the word at the club last night - from Steve Moore reading form the team lists, so in theory he knows
We're GFC! We're Dynamite!!
We're GFC! And the others are Shite!!
So says Tony

16's had a win over WWT and are finals bound, but the 18's had a poor last quarter (again) and came second.

Reserves started well but where run over by WWT

A bad incident early when Josh Scott and a WWT player where involved in a very bad head clash, Josh was knocked out and also had some facial injuries, was taken to hospital by ambulance. Our lads couldn't use the change rooms at their half time break (as the ambos where in there) so that probably didn't help the mood of the day.

Wishing Josh well and hopefully we will see him back on the track soon.

I also noticed Lachie Earl finished the game Icing up a Hamstring.

I think given the recent Injuries and lack Of flexibility in rotations caught up with the Reserves boys. Last game we played with 1 or none on the bench for 2nd half this week we lost Scott early leaving us with 2 on the bench and we just lacked a spark and energy.
