RELL'S WRAP UP - RESERVES
Glenelg 7.7.49
North Adelaide 6.9.45
Another close finish where the Glenelg Reserves managed to fall over the line by 4 points. We didn’t consistently play the way we wanted to with our turnover numbers being higher than any team likes.
There were patches where we moved the ball well but we will certainly have to be a lot sharper against Norwood in the next round. What we do take away from the game is playing some younger players who are coming through the U18’s to Senior men's and holding their own against regular reserves players.
What can’t be questioned is the effort of the players and this was reflected with the high tackle count which ultimately kept us in the game. We will take the win and look to fine tune both our skills and some structural parts of our game to get ready for our next clash.
