Nice early afternoon at the bay on Saturday.

Thoroughly good way to spend a couple of hours watching the 18s do their stuff whilst enjoying a burger and a couple of beers in front of the club. Best part of the day footy wise was watching the Boys five goals up in the last two minutes of the game tackling and smothering and harresing the Dogs boys to try and prevent them from getting a last goal

Wisdom played well along with one of country zone kids McMurray (Hi Ecky). Le Cornu and Thompson werent bad also.

Like always with us having the college kids "in" certainly makes us stronger.

Someone who surprised me was young Clayton Symonds (son -of) who has grown almost a foot since he tried out of the 16s two years ago. Is now good overhead, has good skills and has the Symonds tank.

Hopefully they persist with him over the next few years as he will develop late but could be a good winger/swing man in the 1s down the track.
